I am very pleased to be heading to Hawaii as a part of the Wanderlust Festival in North Tahoe! I will be speaking on how to be mindful with your self image in a image-obsessed and perfection based society. This presentation will offer prime examples in of media manipulation and how to protect ourselves against it.
We've teamed up with CHLA's MyVOICE Transition program to help teach and instill self-love and confidence to chronically-ill patients. Through this 10-week program, we were able to provide the opportunity for 7 girls to learn about body-image, health, and media manipulation.
Join us as we celebrate health and love and we conclude our self-love course in partnership with Children's Hospital LA! Katie will be giving a presentation on self-love and body image in addition to sharing the stories of our program participants.
The event will take place inside the Anderson Pavilion Conference and Education Center - John Stauffer Conference Room. Guest must acquire a visitor's badge upon entering.
